One woman was airlifted to a Toronto hospital following a three-vehicle collision in Selwyn Township on Wednesday morning.
The collision along Lakefield Road (County Road 29) happened around 7 a.m. just south of the Sixth Line, south of Lakefield. The road was closed between Fifth Line and Sixth Line.
The woman and another driver both had extricated from their vehicles.
OPP say one person suffered serious injuries and has been airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital. An Ornge air ambulance landed at the nearby Peterborough Appliances store to transport the victim.
Another person was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre by ambulance with undisclosed injuries.
The driver of third vehicle suffered minor injuries, police said.
Peterborough County OPP, paramedics and Selwyn firefighters remain on scene.
Traffic is being redirected as OPP investigate the cause of the collision.
The road reopened around 2:35 p.m.
