The RCMP are looking for possible witnesses after a fatal collision occurred yesterday on Highway 1 near the Pense turn off.
On May 28, White Butte RCMP attended the scene of the fatal collision on Highway 1 at approximately 4:30 p.m., just 2 kilometres west of the Pense turn off on Highway 1 in the eastbound lane.
RCMP said the collision occurred in the eastbound lanes between a white pickup truck and a man that was near a parked truck that was towing a boat.
Officials confirmed that a Caucasian, middle-aged man has been pronounced dead.
This investigation is ongoing, according to the RCMP, and anybody who was driving in the area, east or westbound near the time of the incident is asked to call the White Butte RCMP at 306-781-5050.
