One airlifted to hospital, one sent by ambulance after motorcycle crash

OPP say a collision involving a minivan and a motorcycle has sent two people to the hospital with serious injuries.

Elgin County Provincial Police arrived at the scene on Talbot Line near Best Line around 12 p.m. on Friday.

OPP reported that the male driver of the motorcycle was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries, and the female passenger was driven to the hospital to treat serious injuries.

The driver and the passenger of the minivan did not sustain any injuries.

The road remained closed three hours to ensure the safety of emergency responders as they completed the investigation.

Police are asking any witnesses of the collision to contact them through the Elgin County OPP.
