On Sunday, police say they were called to a home after receiving a report about an out of control youth. Officers learned the girl had behavior and substance abuse problems. The teen was no longer welcome at her home, so police tried to locate another suitable residence where she could stay. None could be found, so she was taken to police headquarters.

While officers were speaking with Children’s Aid Society, the girl tried to run and pulled the fire alarm as a distraction. Police say she didn’t get to the door before she was apprehended.
