Special Weather Statement Ended

Environment Canada issued a special weather statement for Saskatoon and across central and southeast Saskatchewan on Wednesday for an Alberta Clipper will bring a swath of approximately five centimetres of snow to the area.

Highest accumulations were along Highway 16 over western and southeastern Saskatchewan with snow tapering off over western regions in the afternoon and over eastern regions Wednesday evening.

Road conditions were hazardous due to falling and accumulating snow, so the agency said if you were travelling, to take your time if conditions deteriorate.
