A 25-year-old London, Ont. man is facing a child pornography charge in connection with an investigation that began in the Netherlands, London police said Tuesday.
Investigators said they had received information from the Victim Identification Unit of the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children that someone had sent pornographic text messages to an individual in the Netherlands. The text messages, police said, detailed sex acts with children.
As a result of the investigation, conducted with assistance from the Digital Forensic Unit, London police executed a search warrant on Friday at an address on Barrett Crescent, and seized several electronic devices, police said.
