Premier Kathleen Wynne will be lending a hand to a local liberal candidate this Friday.
London North Centre candidate Kate Graham will be opening her volunteer office at 931 Oxford Street East alongside Wynne, as well as the current London North Centre MPP Deb Matthews.
“I do think it’s a really positive sign of confidence to have the Premier visit this early in the campaign,” Graham told 980 CFPL.
The event gets underway at 4:30 p.m. Friday and Graham added that the space will be multi-purpose.
“Certainly we’ll be doing the campaign headquarter work out of that space but it was really important to us to call it a volunteer hub because the main purpose of this space is as a gathering spot for people in London North Centre who want to get involved in the campaign,” said Graham.
“We’ve been knocking on thousands of doors, we’ve already been out a fair bit, but it will be nice to have a place where the community can come together.”
