London police search for suspects in early-morning home invasion

The London Police Service are asking for the public’s help in connection to an early morning home invasion.

Police responded to the call at around 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday to a home on Oxford Street East, near Maitland Street.

Police say four suspects forced their way into a home while residents were inside.

The suspects are said to have been armed with firearms and other weapons.

Police say both a male and female were assaulted in the home, with the suspects fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and personal items.

Investigators do not believe that this was a random incident, but believe the suspects may have mistaken the address.

Police described the suspects as male, black, in their 20s and wearing bandana-style masks.

Both occupants suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident.
