Arrest made after man pushed through window of Peterborough restaurant

An arrest has been made in connection to an October assault that saw a man pushed through the window of a restaurant in downtown Peterborough.

Police say on Oct. 7, a fight broke out between two men around 2 a.m. outside a George Street restaurant. During the altercation, one man was injured after the other pushed him through the window. Police say the men did not know each other.

On Wednesday, police stated that last Tuesday the suspect attended the police station where he placed under arrest.

Michael Dawson, 24, of Knox Road in Peterborough is charged with assault causing bodily harm.

He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on March 29.
