The Saskatoon Blades lost their fourth straight game 5-1 against the Moose Jaw Warriors on Saturday.

Justin Almeida, Josh Brook, Jayden Halbgewachs, Brett Howden and Tristin Langan scored for the Warriors.

Josh Paterson netted Saskatoon’s lone goal in front of 3,398 Western Hockey League (WHL) fans at Mosaic Place.

Saskatoon goaltender Nolan Maier made 26 saves. Brody Wilms stopped 25 shots for Moose Jaw (48-14-3).

The Blades (31-31-3) are now four points behind the Prince Albert Raiders (29-25-11) in a hunt for a WHL playoff spot.

Saskatoon hosts the Edmonton Oil Kings (19-37-8) next at SaskTel Centre on Tuesday.
