Man injured at Fas Gas station in Calgary

A man was taken to hospital after falling off a ladder at a Fas Gas station in Calgary on Monday afternoon.

The man had been working on the roof and was climbing down a ladder when he fell, according to police.

It happened at about 12:20 p.m. at a Fas Gas station in the 7400 block of Ogden Rd. S.E.

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) has been called in and will take the lead in the investigation.

OHS said the man was working on the heating system prior to tumbling from the ladder.

Both police and EMS have confirmed the man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators said they received no reports that a vehicle was involved in the incident.
