Hamilton police probe targeted attack on the Mountain

One person has been taken to hospital following a home invasion on the Hamilton Mountain.

Just after midnight, early Friday morning, police say they responded to a report of possible shots fired at a home in the area of Rymal Road East and Upper Wentworth Street.

Police say the victim was attacked by four men and suffered a minor injury. Police say it was reported that a firearm was used, but no one was shot.

The suspects were described as four males in their 20s wearing masks, possibly driving a silver sedan. Police believe the residence and victim were targeted.
