One teen dead, another hurt after fiery crash in southern Manitoba

One person has died and another is in hospital after a single-vehicle crash southwest of Winnipeg.

Morden RCMP responded to a report of a fatal single-vehicle crash on Highway 32 early Monday.

Crews arrived on scene in the RM of Stanley at around 12:20 a.m. and found a truck in the south ditch, on fire.

A man from Rosengart, Man. was pronounced dead. The 19-year-old had been thrown from the vehicle.

An 18-year old man from Winkler, who had also been ejected from the truck, was sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said the teens we not wearing their seatbelts. Alcohol is considered a factor.
