EDMONTON – Following a six month investigation, Rocky Mountain House RCMP have arrested and charged a 25-year-old man with two child pornography related charges.
In September 2012, RCMP and Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team (ALERT)’s southern Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Team started an investigation into allegations that a Rocky Mountain House man was in possession of child pornography.
On February 27, 2013, Rocky Mountain House RCMP arrested and charged the 25-year-old man with one count of possession of child pornography and one count of making child pornography.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court at Rocky Mountain House at a later date
RCMP say his name will not be released in order to protect the identity of the victim(s).
