One woman was sent to hospital in critical condition following an assault in Winnipeg’s West End Thursday night.
Emergency crews were called to to Furby Street and Ellice Avenue at around 5:45 p.m. Jan. 18.

Police said they arrived to find a woman with a stab wound to the lower body.

Officers said a second woman, with stab wounds to her upper body, was also taken to hospital but was treated and released.
Winnipeg Police Homicide Unit continues to investigate.
