Man who went on racial tirade at Vancouver SkyTrain in court for possible sentencing

The man charged in connection with an assault at a Vancouver SkyTrain station will be back in court today.

Peter Anthony Gagen pleaded guilty to charges of assault and uttering threats last month.

He went on a racial tirade towards a woman and her son in August 2016, and then attacked a Good Samaritan who jumped in to help.

The man said Gagen also spat on him in the process.

Gagen could be sentenced today. He is also in court for a psychiatric report.
