Amber Guiboche disappeared the night of Nov. 11, 2010. Now, seven years later, Manitoba RCMP have released new information in the ongoing investigation.
Guiboche was hanging out with friends at a home on Bushnell Street the night she was last seen. She reportedly left the home around 11:45 p.m. and walked to Isabel Street and William Avenue where she got into a pick-up truck.

Officers had previously said Guiboche was spotted getting into a red truck. Thursday they released new images clarifying the truck was in fact burgundy.
Investigators are looking for a mid-90’s Chevrolet Silverado with extended cab, short box with a 4×4 decal near the rear of the box and the word ‘Chevrolet’ on the tailgate. The vehicle was last seen heading south on Isabel Street.
“The focus right now is getting information about this truck, about this driver and anyone who may have seen her on November 10,” Sgt. Paul Manaigre of the RCMP said. “The driver of this truck, a male, is of definite interest to police in this investigation”.
Back in 2014, Winnipeg police released a sketch of someone who was often seen in the area where Guiboche went missing.
Guiboche’s family have always maintained hope the case would be resolved.
