Man arrested by Halifax police after disturbance at Dartmouth marijuana dispensary

File/ Global News

A suspect was due in court today to face multiple charges following a disturbance at a medicinal marijuana dispensary in Dartmouth.

Halifax regional police say they were called to the Atlantic Compassion Club Society yesterday afternoon when a man became belligerent after he was refused service for not having proper identification and then drove off erratically in a stolen motor vehicle.

They say he returned a short time later and flashed a firearm — which turned out to a replica BB gun — at another customer in an attempt to get that customer to buy cannabis for him before he drove off again in the stolen car.
