Cancellations around Southern Manitoba – November 15

Many Manitobans woke up Wednesday morning to snow and blowing snow, causing a number of school cancellations outside Winnipeg.

Roads outside the city were snow and ice covered, and visibility was tough in many spots because of blowing snow. Conditions are expected to improve through the day.

Cancellations for Wednesday, November 15:

-All schools in the Lord Selkirk School Division are closed, no buses are running, and staff is not expected to report to their place of work.

-All schools in Sunrise School Division are closed.

-All schools in Lakeshore School Division are closed due to dangerous road conditions.

-All schools in the Evergreen School Division are closed and no buses running.

-All schools in the Interlake School Division are closed and no buses running.

-Happy Time Nursery School in Beausejour closed.

-The Beausejour Kids Centre is closed.

-The country bus is not running for Calvin Christian School.

-Stonewall Children’s Centre is closed.

-Springfield Tiny Tots Centre in Oakbank is closed.

-There is no bus transportation for École Jours de Plaine in Laurier.

-École Saint-Georges in Pine Falls and École Aurèle Lemoine in Saint Laurent are both closed.

-Sergeant Tommy Prince School (Brokenhead Ojibway Nation) is closed.

-Springfield Public Library in Dugald is closed.

-Dugald Daycare is closed.
