New Brunswick providing $830,000 in payroll rebates to create 150 service centre jobs in Moncton

A new auto-related business services centre in Moncton that will create up to 150 jobs has opened with support from the New Brunswick government.

The province says Club Auto — which provides customer support for many brands in the automotive industry — opened its Moncton office last month and currently has 35 employees.

The company intends to expand its workforce to 75 employees by early next year and to double that over five years.

The province says that to support those jobs, Club Auto is eligible for up to $830,000 in provincial payroll rebates that are only provided to a company once it’s created and maintained the jobs for one year.
