Winnipeg teen in critical condition after Sunday night stabbing

Police are investigating two stabbings that took place in Winnipeg Sunday night, including one that left a teen in critical condition.

The 16-year-old boy was stabbed at the corner of Ellice Avenue and McMicken Street shortly before 10 p.m. and was taken to hospital.

The second incident happened at around 10:45 p.m. in the 400-block of Graham Avenue. A 19-year old man was stabbed and treated on scene and did not go to hospital.

Police are looking into whether or not there was any connection between the two incidents.
