Remains of 4 dogs discovered in New Brunswick, RCMP investigating

New Brunswick RCMP are asking for the public’s help after a hunter discovered the remains of four dogs near Lawrence Station, N.B.

The hunter, Justin Stewart, told Global News that he found the remains while hunting in a wooded area off Route 127.

“I thought somebody had shot a fox or something, then I saw the collars,” he said.

“There were three of them tied together at the neck and a fourth one off to the side.”

The bodies were partially hidden under a tarp and Stewart says that the one off to the side looked like it had been there longer than the other three.

“It looked almost fully decomposed,” he said.

The West District RCMP are investigating to determine who owned the dogs and how they died.
