A 25-year-old man from Peerless Lake is dead after he was struck by a vehicle along Highway 686, northeast of Red Earth Creek.
It happened around 12:50 a.m. Sunday morning.
Police said the man died on scene.
“The vehicle involved in this collision was not at the scene when police arrived and remains outstanding,” RCMP said Sunday.
RCMP have determine the man was struck by a vehicle and an RCMP collision analyst is assisting in the investigation.

Red Earth Creek is about 160 kilometres northeast of Peace River.
