Police charge Burlington man with long list of drug offences

A Burlington man is facing numrous charges after police seized drugs and weapons. Halton Regional Police

Police have charged a man after seizing drugs and weapons from a home in Burlington.

Officers searched the home on Castleguard Crescent, near Burlington Mall Thursday, and confiscated cocaine, marijuana, Percocet pills, two digital scales, and a pill press.

The street value of the drugs is estimated to be $1,500.

Halton Regional Police say they also seized a machete, two throwing knives, $800 cash and two cellphones.

Emanuel DaSilva Thomas, 25, of Burlington, is charged with trafficking marijuana, possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of Percocet for the purpose of trafficking and three counts of breaching probation.
