An Aylmer woman is facing theft charges as a result of a four-month-long investigation into discrepancies in school council funds at New Sarum Public School in Central Elgin.
Police were contacted by the school council in July with allegations of fraudulent behaviour after the council noticed inconsistencies in its funds.
Tracy Arthur, 42, of Aylmer has been charged with theft over $5,000 and theft under $5,000.
The matter is now before the courts.
