RCMP are stepping up their search efforts at a Salmon River Road property in the north Okanagan where human remains have been found.
Police are bringing more heavy equipment to the site in addition to an excavator that started digging Friday in a corner of the property.
That area has since been fenced off to hide the work of specialized Tactical Unit searchers.

On Tuesday, a new focus of the investigation is a horse-trailer that has a sleeping compartment for people.
It was being combed over and dusted for fingerprints.
It’s believed Curtis Wayne Segmoen, 36, is a resident of the large, rural property.
He is in custody after being arrested on charges stemming from alleged gun threats made to a sex trade worker in August.
Sagmoen has a court appearance scheduled for Thursday in Vernon.
RCMP won’t confirm speculation the property search may be related to five missing women cases in the north Okanagan since last year.

Meanwhile, a man who refused to identify himself but says he is an acquaintance of Sagmoen describes him as a kind and generous person.
