The OPP have recovered a vehicle they were seeking in connection with the ramming an OPP cruiser last week in the Kitchener area.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says 23-year-old Hakem Ali of no fixed address, has been arrested and charged in the incident.
The incident occurred on Oct. 19 when a driver was seen driving erratically on Highway 8 in the Cambridge area around 4 a.m. Officers followed the driver to a parking lot on Fairway Road. Police say the driver refused to surrender to police and instead rammed their cruiser twice before fleeing the parking lot.
