London Police have concluded two people in South Africa are to blame for a heavy police presence in the Byron area on Wednesday.

At roughly 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, someone called police saying a man with a rifle was at the door of their home.

Police attended the area of Timber Drive, set up a perimeter, and closed down nearby streets for roughly an hour as the area was checked and police searched the home. No one in the neighbourhood had any knowledge of the call and no one reported seeing a man with a gun, police said.
