Man’s best friends needed a little help this week, and people stepped up to restore our faith in humanity.

This frail dog fell into a 70-foot-deep well in India and was on the verge of giving up, when kind humans came to the rescue.

In just 24 hours, viewers watched this clip more than 345,000 times. And this one post already has more than 5,000 interactions.

Back in North America: This family had to flee their home as wildfires swept through parts of California.

They didn’t know where their dog Izzy had gone.

When they went back to record footage of their house — which was destroyed — they got a very welcome surprise!

But luckily, a coastguard helicopter on a training exercise spotted the Cockapoo.
