Norfolk OPP have laid multiple drug charges against two people following the execution of a search warrant at a home in Walsingham, Ont., about eight kilometres northwest of Port Rowan, Ont., police said Saturday.
Members of the OPP Haldimand/Norfolk Street Crime Unit and Emergency Response Team conducted the search warrant at a residence on Concession Road 6 on Friday.
Two people, a male and female, were taken into custody, police said, adding drugs and currency were seized during the search.
A 41-year-old man and 55-year-old woman, both of Norfolk County, each face charges for individual possession for the purpose of trafficking for the following drugs: heroin, fentanyl, methamphetamine, hydromorphone, codeine, morphine, LSD and marijuana.
Both also face charges of possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

The 41-year-old faces an additional three counts of failing to comply with recognizance, police said.
Both will appear in court in Simcoe, Ont., at a later date, police said.
