2 members of Outlaws Motorcycle Club charged with drug, weapons offences

A police investigation into cocaine trafficking in the London area has led to charges against two members of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club.

On Thursday, members of the OPP, with the assistance of London police and the RCMP, executed three search warrants and charged two people with 18 drug and weapons-related offences.

During the investigation, police seized cocaine, cannabis, pills, a handgun, a set of brass knuckles and $1,200 in cash. Police said the street value of the drugs seized is approximately $19,500.

Marco Dos Reis, 32, from London is facing a total of 17 charges, including possession of a prohibited firearm, occupying a motor vehicle with a firearm, possession of a restricted weapon or prohibited device, handling/storing firearm carelessly, handling/storing ammunition carelessly, four counts of possession of a firearm while prohibited, possession of a Schedule 1 substance, possession for the purpose of trafficking, and two counts of unlawfully possessing a Schedule 2 substance.

Jeffrey Acal, 32, from Mount Brydges, Ont., has been charged with one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
