A man in his 30s is dead after he was found in a Toronto apartment Tuesday night that also allegedly contained a drug lab.

Toronto police said they responded to a call around 10 p.m. at a unit on Broadway Avenue near Mount Pleasant Road and Redpath Avenue.

Police said there was an apparent medical complaint and a man was found dead inside the apartment.

Authorities said they later discovered a drug lab inside the unit.

The hazardous material response unit was brought in and deemed the area safe just before 3 a.m.

Police have yet to determine the man’s cause of death but they said it is not considered suspicious.
