Regina police tasered a man on Wednesday evening in North Regina after he was in a business with a knife.
On Wednesday night, police were called to the 300 block of McCarthy Boulevard North where an intoxicated man was walking around the business carrying a knife.

Once officers arrived, they asked the man to drop the knife. He refused, and police then tasered him to get him under arrest.
The man was not injured during the arrest but he was assessed by EMS.
Thirty-eight-year-old Clayton Kinequon of Regina is now facing a weapon charge.
Kinequon will make his first court appearance in Regina on November 2.
