RCMP search for man and woman after luxury cars stolen from Banff Springs Hotel

Alberta RCMP have released a photo of two people of interest and are asking for the public’s help to identify them after two “luxury vehicles” were stolen from the parking lot at the upscale Fairmont Banff Springs Resort two months ago.

Police said Banff RCMP officers were called to a complaint July 8 that an Infiniti Q60 convertible had been stolen from the hotel. The next day, a brown BMW X6 SUV was stolen.

Police believe the incidents are related.

A man and woman were captured on video surveillance from the hotel; investigators said they are people of interest in the thefts.

Anyone who recognizes the people in the above photo is asked to call Banff RCMP at 403-762-2226 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

If you provide information to Crime Stoppers that leads to an arrest(s), the recovery of stolen property and/or a seizure of illicit drugs, you may be eligible for a cash reward, police said.
