Members of the Saskatoon Fire Department reunited two cats with a their owner at a house fire on Saturday.

The structure fire at 2116 Cumberland Ave. was reported at around 10:45 a.m. CT.

Crews arrived to find the house filled with smoke.

Two people had already evacuated the home and stated there was no one else inside. However, two cats were unaccounted for.

Firefighters entered the structure and put out the flames in a bedroom on the main floor.

Whiles crews searched to ensure there was no one inside, the two felines were found unharmed and brought out to their owner.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation. Damage is estimated at $100,000.
