Investigators looking into cause of church fire in North York

Emergency crews put out a fire at a North York church in a matter of minutes but investigators are still trying to figure out how it started.

Firefighters responded to a call around 4:07 a.m. to the Miracle Arena for All Nations Church at 20 Milvan Drive near Finch Avenue and Weston Road.

Toronto Fire said four people at the church tried to extinguish the fire at the front of the building but gave way to firefighters who managed to put out the blaze at 4:20 a.m.

Officials said no injuries were reported but the front of the church suffered extensive damage.

Fire investigators have been called in to determine the cause of the blaze.
