HEARST, Ont. – Provincial police say an autopsy has failed to determine the cause of death of a four-year-old child last weekend in northern Ontario.
Police say they were called Saturday afternoon to assist Nishnawbe-Aski Police deal with a child in medical distress on the Constance Lake First Nation near Hearst, Ont.

The girl was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Police say further medical testing will be done in an effort to determine the cause of death.
They say the investigation is ongoing.
