Driver seriously injured in Strathroy-Caradoc crash involving dump truck

The Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service said one driver was taken by air ambulance to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries following a crash Monday morning involving a dump truck.

The crash occurred at roughly 8 a.m. at Glendon Drive and Melbourne Road.

Glendon Drive was closed westbound at Glen Oak Road and eastbound at Melbourne Road for over two hours as emergency crews cleared the scene and investigators surveyed the area.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation and no other information has been released as of Monday afternoon.
