The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced on Monday that Jeff Knox Jr. will be returning to the team after an NFL tryout.
Knox signed with the Riders after attending traing camp this season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The 25-year-old linebacker spent the last two seasons with the green and white recording 65 tackles in 17 games.
During Knox’s rookie season in 2015, he was named the Riders Most Outstanding Player, Most Outstanding Defensive Player and Most Outstanding Rookie.
Knox is expected to join the Riders at practice this week.
