A 22-year-old man is facing several charges, including impaired driving, after he allegedly went on a crime spree and driving a vehicle into a home multiple times in Moose Jaw early Wednesday morning.

Moose Jaw Police say shortly after 2 a.m. on Wednesday an intoxicated man entered a home on Carrington Drive before the home owner forced him to leave. Following that, the man entered another home on Carrington Drive where he got into a verbal dispute with several occupants of the home.

The man then left the home and got into the vehicle he was driving, and drove the vehicle into the residence multiple times before leaving the area.

While driving eastbound on Wellington Drive and the 1500 block of Vaughan Street, the man drove the vehicle into a cement retaining wall and several parked cars. The man then fled the scene on foot.

Residents in the area followed the man to a nearby yard and alerted police of his location.

The suspect was arrested and taken into custody. He has been charged with impaired driving, refusing to provide a breath sample, driving while prohibited, failure to remain at the scene of an accident, mischief to property and several breaches of a probation order.
