RCMP said charges have been approved in connection with a double homicide in Langley.
Langley RCMP confirm they were called to 62A Crescent and 64 Avenue during the early hours of Sept. 1 where they found an adult man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Their vehicle had ended up off the road.
Both were rushed to hospital by paramedics but died from their injuries.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) identified the female victim as 34-year-old Brandy Petrie of Burnaby and the male victim as 20-year-old Avery Levely-Flescher of Surrey.
Travis MacPhail of Langley has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder as well as possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition, uttering threats and aggravated sexual assault.
