The District of North Vancouver Fire Department sent out crews for two, back-to-back rescues in Lynn Canyon just before 1 p.m.

The first was a woman who hurt herself while hiking on the trails and the second was a technical rescue about half an hour later who hurt herself possibly cliff jumping.

Firefighters were also called out last night when about half a dozen tubers had to be rescued from Capilano River.
