Vicki Mowat is the Saskatchewan NDP candidate. She ran for the seat in the 2016 provincial election, losing by less than 200 votes to the Saskatchewan Party’s Jennifer Campeau.

“I want to be able to fight for affordability for people, make life more affordable. This is an important piece for us. We know this is a byelection, so it’s not a chance for us to change government, but it is an opportunity to send a message to the Sask Party,” said Mowat.
