An 18-year-old woman was rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a shooting outside a restaurant in Mississauga.

Peel Regional Police said they received a call of a shooting just before 1 a.m. on Friday at a parking lot in front of ZET’s Restaurant on Airport Road near Highway 427 and Highway 409.

Police said they located a woman sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle with a gunshot wound.

Peel EMS said they treated the female victim on scene and she was transported to hospital with critical injuries.

Police said her injuries have since been upgraded to non-life-threatening.

Police said they are looking for two male suspects. The first is described as in his 20s, wearing a Nike hoodie and blue jeans.

The second suspect is also in his 20s, wearing a black zip up hoodie with a white t-shirt underneath and jeans.

Anyone with information or surveillance video of the incident is urge to contact police.
