Brandon police officer adds gold medal to arsenal

A Brandon police officer is the top cop when it comes to the bench press.

Cst. Adam Potter won a gold medal at the World Police and Fire Games in Los Angeles.

He bench pressed an impressive 480 lbs. Good enough for top spot in the 30+ year old, 264.5 lb and under category

It is an upgrade from the silver he won in the same event in 2015.

He was the only officer from Brandon to compete in the games that featured 10,000 competitors.

Winnipeg is hosting the games in 2023.
