RCMP say David Eanese Blackmore was arrested without incident by Port Alberni RCMP on Friday, August 4.
This comes after he escaped from custody at his mother’s funeral in Port Alberni on Tuesday afternoon.
Blackmore slipped out the rear door of the Yates Funeral Home.
He was in custody for drug offences and possession of stolen property at the time of his escape.
