Charges are pending against two people involved a high-speed chase and subsequent crash involving several vehicles in northeast Calgary on Wednesday.
Calgary police say the car was initially stopped by officers in the 4200-block of 14 Ave. S.E., but it reversed and rammed into a cruiser before speeding away.
It then lost control a few blocks away and crashed into a plumbing truck, pushing it into a Canada Post truck, before stopping in the front yard of a home.

Witnesses on the scene told Global News the suspect car was seen speeding through a playground zone before crashing into the plumber’s truck.
No one was in the other vehicles at the time of the incident, however the postal worker said she was standing right outside her truck when the crash happened.
The 30-year-old driver was taken to hospital as a precaution, police said, and the passenger was arrested at the scene.
Charges are pending against both people and police have not released their identities.
