Manitoba RCMP closed a portion of Highway 59 just north of Brokenhead First Nation, after a two vehicle collision Saturday.
Police said eight people were sent to hospital with injuries.

Officials remained on scene throughout the afternoon. Police said the initial investigation suggests a Jeep drifted into oncoming traffic.
The highway has since fully reopened to traffic.
