Red Deer RCMP said around 12:30 a.m., the suspects broke into the return key box by prying it out of the cement.

Police said the suspects first stole three vehicles: a Ford Fusion car, a cargo truck and a cargo van.

RCMP said three men then returned to the location at 1:45 a.m. and stole the remaining two vehicles in the lot: a Dodge Ram truck and a Jeep Compass SUV.

One of the men was captured on video inside a Ford truck suspected of being used in the theft. Police have released photos in hopes of identifying him.

Two of the stolen vehicles have since been recovered: the Jeep was found abandoned this past Saturday night in Red Deer, while the Ford was recovered Sunday by police who responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle and arrested the 26-year-old man inside the car.
