Police have cleared the scene at a hotel in south London following reports of gunshots.
Just before 2:30 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites on Wellington Rd. South near Southdale Rd. after receiving a report of the sound of gunshots.
Several police officers attended and searched the area but no suspicious activity was found.

“There is no threat to public safety at this time,” said Cst. Josh Kenny.
At 7 p.m., the building was deemed clear and re-opened for guests to return.
No injuries were reported.
